Who is peace for?

I spent a most interesting day experiencing the World Café methodology as opposed to standard conference or symposium methods at the above event at Loughborough University.

The event was convened by David Roberts and it was a to discus as questions such as 'Who is peace for?' And 'Can we know what peace to build?' were explored.

Of course definitions of peace and legitimacy raised their heads but overwhelmingly the need to address how peace building and related research reflects truly the priorities of people living in post-conflict spaces.

I now have to reflect on the day more fully and consider what I can do through my own practice to help build peace.
